The resolve of Shuichi Kitao

It was probably around the end of July that the flames against Keigo Oyamada started to change, with the serialized article by Shuichi Kitao titled “What I thought after re-reading Bullying Chronicles. Naturally, the bashing of Keigo Oyamada was still going on, and as Shuichi Kitao said in his article, it was obvious that if he defended Keigo Oyamada, the fire would rain down on him. Keigo Oyamada was in the middle of a firestorm, unable to correct the hoax of the poop backdrop. I would like to commend Shuichi Kitao for his determination in raising doubts about Keigo Oyamada, even at the risk of being caught up in the poop backdrop (a hoax).

“Rereading the Bullying Chronicles and Thinking About It”

This article was organized in three parts. At the time, I think it was published in stages, a few days apart. Unfortunately, it is now a paid article, though you can still read it if you want to. I myself read the free articles and have not read any of the new ones. I just find it annoying to pay Shuichi Kitao. I have no other intentions.

The article itself is a reminiscence by Shuichi Kitao, who was close to the people involved (Keigo Oyamada and his editor), about the time when the QuickJapan article, which is treated as one of the sources in the bullying issue, was created. The article also includes a scan of the QuickJapan magazine at the time. Many people, including myself, may have read the magazine for the first time in this article. The article was written out of a desire to eliminate bullying, the editor at the time was inexperienced due to his youth, there was a friendship between Keigo Oyamada and the bullying victim, and there was a blog that arbitrarily cut and pasted the magazine to hide the friendship.

Humanity in the poop backdrop

The question indirectly asked in the Keigo Oyamada issue was, “Is Keigo Oyamada scum after all?” I think that is the point. Even if we try to make a fuss about the poop backdrop (it’s a hoax), it was decades ago, and it is difficult to prove anything. However, public opinion cannot say that he is not guilty, because the doubters are not punished.

Well, this article answered a few of those questions of public opinion. It was a moment when the spring breeze blew, at least he might not be a villain. In fact, I think many Keigo Oyamada fans may have been encouraged by this article. It was a powerful weapon in Keigo Oyamada’s defense. From my point of view, the movement to defend Oyamada Keigo seems to have started here. There may have been a movement before that, but it was not visible to me, under the surface.

I still have the same impression that this was the dawn of the movement to defend Keigo Oyamada.

Its destructive power

If I may be frank, I think I was reading this book with a distorted face. I still have a vivid impression of the article, which was like a soft-serve ice cream with an unconcealed rotten smell. It would be rare to find a text that I can’t physiologically accept, but that’s what it was for me.

Friendship is all that matters.

For me, it was the pinnacle of spitefulness at the time.

I couldn’t believe that there were people who read that and changed their opinion that Keigo Oyamada was not bad. According to them, there was actually friendship, he didn’t ignore the disabled and treated them as equals, good story… There were many people who said that this article changed their impression of Keigo Oyamada (for the better). I guess we should respect that. That poop backdrop (it’s a hoax) had been corrupted into emotional pornography by Shuichi Kitao. Well, that’s okay.

Discomfort

Why does mere emotional pornography have to be so on the nose? There is definitely a wrong way to do it. But is it really that bad? As I read on again with my doubts, my heart palpitated quickly…

It didn’t take me long to become convinced.

At the end of July, I had almost completely transcended my feelings about Keigo Oyamada, and had become “anti-Shuichi Kitao.

What the hell is that?
